Getting A Plan Together For A Small Property - Chiltern
Lifestyle bock farm planning
Our client had shifted to small property just outside of Chiltern, had worked on getting their fences sorted, but needed some help about what to do next. Lots of ideas but hard to know what to do first.
What We Did:
The most basic thing with a small property is where to start with a plan. ARC’s approach is about listening and understand the storey of what’s important to the client and why they bought the block in the first place. Just talking this out plus adding some straightforward advice clears the head about next steps.
We ask questions, invited the owner to look at what’s working at their place and look over the fence as see what is working well with their neighbours… and what’s not!! We gave some practical advice which were enablers to get their plan started.
The Result:
Some reflective coaching and thinking with practical advice that cleared the head. The client has the base thinking to build a plan and achieve the lifestyle goals associated with living on a small property and enjoying the country living. Awkward Rural Contracting is not only about doing the work. It’s about growing the owner’s capability and build rural communities.
